Google Announces The Nexus 5

Google have today announced the release of their latest Nexus device – the Nexus 5. Sporting a larger screen, sleeker design, and an all round gorgeous package, the Nexus 5 is really one to watch.
Specifications
The device is produced in collaboration with LG, and sports both 16GB and 32GB versions in both black and white, and a stunning 4.9″ screen. Here’s a list of the full specifications:
- Android 4.4 KitKat
- 4.95″ 1920×1080 display (445 ppi) with Gorilla Glass 3
- 1.3MP front facing camera
- 8MP rare facing camera with flash
- 2GB RAM
- Qualcomm Snapdragonâ„¢ 800, 2.3 GHz CPU
- Adreno 330, 450 MHz GPU

All of this costs just £299 for the 16GB, or £339 for the 32GB, as usual, the Nexus 5 is prices reasonably well – especially when you compare it to the ridiculous cost of devices like the iPhone 5. According to the Google Play Store, the Nexus 5 is set to leave the shelves on 08th November 2013.
Some might think that the Nexus 5 is going to be a big device, a lot other devices like the Galaxy Note. However, Google and LG have cleverly designed the device, and although it has a huge 5″ screen, it around the same size as a Galaxy S3. Great news for me, as that’s what device I have now.
I know I’ll be ordering on, will you?
