Google – Offline Cards Back In Maps For Android
Today, during the launch of Maps 7.0 for Android, Google has raised many modifications and additions. Mainly, the return function of offline viewing.
So with the latest version of Maps for Android, users can now save a map for offline viewing later. Some time ago a method of bypassing this limitation was on the canvas. It was easy to access by typing the keyword “OK Maps” in the search bar to perform a local backup. The users complained more precisely the lack of a dedicated button.
Now, just by selecting “Make a map of the area available offline“, the backup is automatically done. Interface side, no major changes on the horizon. However, there is improvements of the fluidity while using the app. This update is currently being deployed and mobile users all concerned should have in the coming days.
