Google Tablet On It’s Way

Today in the internet blogosphere, an Asus employee ‘let slip’ that they were in the process of making an official Google Nexus Tablet.

According to this employee, the tablet will make an appearance at the upcoming Google I/O event and that it will probably be announced by the end of June. It’s been suggested that the Nexus tablet will sport a 7-inch display, quad-core processor and run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich – with a price tag set to rival the Amazon Kindle Fire at the budget end of the market.

Currently I have the original Samsung Galaxy 7″ tab and I am due for an upgrade so I will definitely be keeping a very close eye on this one.

    Google have since announced the release of the “Nexus 7″ for less than £200 for the 16GB model – I’ve already pre-ordered mine :)
