Panic Button – The Ultimate Extension For Time Wasters

If you’re anything like me then you will procrastinate, especially when in work. Personally, when things are a little quiet in work I sometimes have a sneaky look at Facebook, Twitter or Google+. The problem comes when one of the many managers walk past my desk and see my screen. Luckily Panic Button fixes this problem for me.
With Panic Button installed there is a small icon placed with your other extension icons; which, when pressed will cause your browser (Firefox or Chrome/Chromium) to instantly hide all of your open tabs and replace them with pre-defined tab(s). Personally I have mine set to the Google homepage.
The hidden gem within Power Button is the optional shortcut key. I have mine set to alt+p and this allows me to quickly hit my Panic Button if I hear someone approaching no matter where my mouse cursor is. Then, once they’re gone, I hit the Panic Button again and all of my tabs are restored.
Panic Button really is a great extension for anyone that wastes time online when they should really be getting some work done and it’s available from the Chrome Web Store and the Firefox Addons Page.
