The Sony Xperia Z1 sports a five-inch Full HD TRILUMINOS display with X-Reality for mobile, which allows a better view of your media and high quality pictures. With it’s 1920×1080 resolution and 441 ppi, it’s certainly not a screen to be overlooked.
- Camera
The big feature on the Sony Xperia Z1 is the camera, packing the smartphone with a whopping 20.7 mega-pixels. What’s more the device sports Sony’s Exmor sensor that capture the best luminosity on every single snap you take.
Alongside with this, the Sony Xperia Z1 is also doted by the company’s G Lens that helps you to have a superior sharpness with it’s 27mm wild angle and Sony’s intelligent Bionz technology to process all images. All-in-all a pretty superb camera.

As the smartphone is based on a 5-inch display, you can play your favourite games with more power and better graphics rendering with the Andremo 330 GPU on board, letting you have up to more 50% graphic performance…apparently
- Android
The Sony Xperia Z1 is based on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The internal storage is 16GB internal memory and 2GB of RAM. It’s a shame to see that there’s no 32, or even 64 GB version of the device. however, there’s the microSD slot to upgrade the memory by another 64GB. Other features like Wifi, LTE, and 3G networks are also available, as well as NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and Sony’s Socialife.
Conclusion
The newest Sony Xperia Z1 is coming to take on the big guys like the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One. It’s even waterproof, which obviously allows you take a pictures underwater for up to 30 minutes and to a depth of 1.5 meter. Really useful for those underwater holiday snaps.
