Ubuntu 13.04 Wallpaper Winners Announced

Back in February we showcased some of our favourite entries into the Ubuntu 13.04 Wallpaper competition. Today the guys over at Canonical have announced the winners of the competition and showcased the wallpapers that will be included in 13.04 by default.

All-in-all there has been 13 wallpapers that have made it into Ubuntu 13.04, but unfortunately only one of the top picks we had chosen made the grade for inclusion as an Ubuntu 13.04 wallpaper. So let’s take a look at which wallpapers made it…

As you can see there are some beautiful designs included in the Ubuntu 13.04 wallpapers here, as well as some great abstract images. Personally, I prefer a more simplistic and basic looking desktop wallpaper but I can certainly see why these where included by the panel who made the decision.
