Do you enjoy what you read on RefuGeeks? Do you find our content to be interesting and worthy of the time you take out of your busy day to read? We think it is, and hopefully you do to.

RefuGeeks is getting more and more popular as time goes on, and over the last year our hosting costs have increased exponentially and currently sit at just over $150 per month and growing (when we started they were just $5 a month!). Currently this bill is footed by myself (Kev Quirk), and I’m happy to do it as I love writing and I am very proud of what we have accomplished here on RefuGeeks.

However, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t appreciate some help with keeping the lights on here at RefuGeeks. So if you want to help my making a small donation to RefuGeeks via PayPal then I would be extremely grateful. I’ve always said that I don’t want to be a millionaire, and I don’t intend to make money from RefuGeeks. So this donation page isn’t anything to do with that, it’s simply to help me financially as things continue to grow.

What if you make more than $150 a month?

First of all I’ll be extremely shocked and humbled if that happens. But if we do raise more than our running costs then any extra cash will immediately be put straight back into RefuGeeks. I will be using any extra cash on things like providing regular authors with financial rewards for their help, website/server development, and if we still have money left over, I’ll use it to purchase prizes and run give away’s for you awesome people.

I already have a full time job, so I don’t want or need money from RefuGeeks. I just want to make RefuGeeks as awesome as I think it has the potential to be.

Whether you donate $1, $10, or nothing at all. It’s absolutely fine. I’ll still appreciate you just as much as everyone else as without people like you, reading this page right now, RefuGeeks wouldn’t be here. So from the bottom of my heart, whether you donate or not, I’d like to say thank you.
